How does much Airhosta cost?

For owners, Airhosta is free - there not costs or fees.

For Product and Service Providers (including Co-Hosts) we charge an annual subscription fee. The cost of subscription is dependant on a couple of things including the country/ies where you operate and the number of profiles you require on Airhosta. It's easy to find out - just jump on: I'm a Provider, complete the form (on the right hand side) and we'll send you a link to start the registration process - during which we calculate for you your subscription cost.

Regardless, we have deliberately made Airhosta as affordable as possible as we recognise that many of our Product and Service Providers, are like us, bootsrapped startups.

I own an Airbnb / Vacation Rental

So what is Airhosta?

You know Uber, right? Well we’re like uber. On Uber drivers make money from their 2 key resources: time + car. On airhosta instead of a car + time, service providers have 2 key resources: time + experience in running an Airbnb or Short Term Rental.

So as a marketplace we connect Airbnb and Vacation Rental service providers who have experience, are available and are from your location – including property managers, cleaners, concierge, key exchange, tourism and hospitality providers – with you.

If you haven’t already – check out our Explainer Video which tells you more about how airhosta works and how you can use us.

How do you evaluate/check product and service providers?

It’s important at Airhosta that we only have the very best Product and Service Providers and Co-Hosts using us and looking after your Airbnb or Vacation Rental.

Your assurance is in our 'Verified' flag against specific attributes including: Address, Phone, Email, Website, Insurance, Licences.

As a part of our sign up process for Providers Co-Hosts, we ask them a series of questions around their business that we then research and check.

In addition where the Provider has indicated they’re licensed and/or they’ve got insurance then we ask for proof of this so that we can verify.

We also run an annual process for service providers who have insurance whereby they are required to send us their latest certificate of currency to ensure their 'Verified' status remains.

How do I use Airhosta?

We provide 2 ways that you connect with Airbnb and Vacation rental service providers:

1. You can submit a ‘proposal request’ and let service providers come back to you with proposals.

‘Proposals requests’ are like jobs – so you provide: • details of your Airbnb or Vacation rental • services you are after • skills you are looking for

then we do the hard work for you by inviting relevant service providers to submit proposals to you to help you decide who you want to hire.

2. We’re also about to release a new feature which means that instead of submitting a ‘proposal request’ you can just find and hire service providers via awesome profiles we create for them and list on our soon to be launched airhosta service provider directory.

How often should I use Airhosta?

It really is up to you and how often you need to hire great people for your Airbnb or Vacation Rental.

For example – with property managers, it is more effective to hire them on an longer term basis. This means you potentially get reduced rates.

But with cleaners – you might also decide to hire them on a longer term basis, or hire them as you need them.

Same with other service providers – but again, the longer your arrangement with them, the more likely they’ll be to offer you better rates.

Either way we can help you find great people on Airhosta!

I’ve contacted providers and asked for proposals, but haven’t heard anything?

Sometimes providers can get busy, and they may not respond straight away.

But if you haven't heard from a provider that you've contacted, let us know and we'll chase them up for you so they respond to you. We want to ensure that providers are coming back to our users as quickly as possible.

I’ve had a bad experience with one of your providers

Firstly – we are sorry to hear that. We work hard at Airhosta to check the credential of all service providers in our community. But unfortunately this doesn’t guarantee the quality of the service that they are providing.

In the first instance, you should let the service provider know about your experience. Most service providers will work to try and rectify the situation to your satisfaction.

If you haven’t received a satisfactory response from the service, provider – please Contact Us and we can discuss with the service provider. However please note – we are an online marketplace, so we don’t actually employ providers. So any disputes with a provider need to be managed through their dispute resolution process or taken up with the appropriate authorities.

We are currently developing a feedback system – which will mean if you experience a bad experience in the future, you can provide this feedback directly to the specific service provider’s profile so that other owners can see this information.

I’ve got an idea on how you can improve – how do I let you know?

We LOVE new ideas on how we can improve. For us to be a marketplace that service providers and owners keep using, we have to be relevant and provide great experiences.

So if you have something on your mind that we could do better at – then we want to hear about it. Get in touch with us - Contact Us.

I'm a Provider/Co-Host

I’m a service provider but I actually need to hire other service providers to help me with my Airbnb / Vacation Rentals services business. Can I use Airhosta to find other service providers?

Absolutely. We’re finding that lots of service providers are using us to build up their own workforce of service providers to help them grow their own business and services. We’re fine with that.

How exactly does it work?

Airhosta is a marketplace that connects Airbnb hosts and Vacation Rental owners with awesome product and service providers (including co-hosts) to help them make running their Airbnb/Vacation rental super easy.

If an Airbnb host/Vacation Rental owner is looking for someone to help them run their place, they search our directory, and shortlist providers who they think could be a good fit - and we do the rest. We contact the Providers with details of what the owner is looking for.

In addition, we work really hard behind the scenes on things like:

 • clever marketing to ensure our product and service providers are front of mind for an audience of 650,000+ Airbnb hosts and vacation rental owners.
 • developing tools tools for providers to optimise their products and target audiences in the Airbnb and Vacation Rental community
 • identifying opportunities for providers to across new products and markets in the Airbnb and Vacation Rental community

Our goal is to not only make the lives of Airbnb and Vacation Rental owners easier, but help our product and service providers grow and prosper in an industry that is projected to grow to to $194bn by 2021.

How do I join the Provider/Co-Host community?

It’s easy. Just go to I'm a Provider or I'm a Co-Host and complete the contact form on the right side of the page and we'll get the ball rolling!

How much does it cost?

We have just moved out our beta build of Airhosta, and have now launched our new version of the site - which we are piloting with users. So starting in November 2019, we will start charging for Providers to use Airhosta.

For Product and Service Providers (including Co-Hosts) we charge an annual subscription fee. The cost of subscription is dependant on a couple of things including the country/ies where you operate and the number of profiles you require on Airhosta. Do you let me know if owners are looking for me?

Yes we do.

We know that your time is precious. So as soon as an Airbnb host or Vacation Rental owner let's us know they have shortlisted you, we'll email to let you know.

You just need to login into Airhosta, and check your dashboard for the request - where you'll find further information and contact details of the host/owner.

I had a bad experience with an owner

Firstly, we are sorry to hear that.

We are a marketplace that connects Airbnb and Vacation Rental owners with service providers. So we don’t vet the owners using us and any arrangement you enter are directly with that individual or organisation in line with our terms and conditions. So in the first instance you should try and resolve the issue directly with the owner.

But if you feel there is something we could do in the future to ensure you don’t have the same problem (like a feature on airhosta) – then please let us know via Contact Us

Get in touch with us - Contact Us

Why do you charge your subscription annually rather than monthly?

Good question.

In short - it takes time, alot of it, to get our providers profiles noticed by Airbnb hosts and owners. We work really hard behind the scenes to publicise your business via SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), PPC (Pay per Click), Social media and some other magical marketing and analytic driven techniques we do (which we can't reveal...a good magician never shares their tricks, right?)

We feel it is important for our Providers to make a strong commitment to their presence and reputation on Airhosta, and equally help them understand that every business they see on Airhosta is not an overnight success. It takes time, hard work, dedication and a bit of luck to help make providers profitable and connect them with a loyal community of Airbnb hosts and Vacation Rental owners. Kind of like being married, I guess.

So we have set up subscription to Airhsota on an annual basis - so we attract those types of providers and co-hosts that see the longer term potential of what they are building, and want to work with Airhosta to help grow their business exponentially.

I'd like to partner with you

What partnership opportunities do you look for?

We receive a high volume of partnership requests and consequently we’re very selective on who we partner with.

This means we do scrutinise any partnership opportunity closely, and particularly look for:

 • Is what your providing a natural fit for our owners or providers? Will they get value out of it, how would they use it?
 • How well regarded is your product or service? Do you have current users? Are they net promoters for you?
 • How would you propose to partner with us? What would you want us to do? What would you do?
 • What commercial terms do you offer?
 • What’s in it for you – and what’s in it for Airhosta?

Why do we think Airhosta is different?

You know Uber right, and of course you know Airbnb?

They're what we call Share Economy 1.0 - startups that have recognised the opportunity that's been right in front of us for a long time. People have time and they have domestic resources that they can commercialize. In the case of Uber it is your time + your own car. For Airbnb it is your time + your spare room, apartment or home that is vacant.

From this capacity an economy has emerged which has democratized the ability for people all around the world to commercialize domestic assets.

At Airhosta we are now pushing the envelope even further on the Share Economy.

By creating Share Economy 2.0, we are creating a marketplace where people+time + skills/experiences working in Share Economy 1.0, can now effectively be resold back to Share Economy 1.0. By democratizing the services economy, we are providing the opportunity for anyone around the world to find meaningful and rewarding self-employment...something we really like the sound of.

Intrigued? So are we. We've only just started on this journey...so stay tuned.
